It’s Debbie. Sorry it has taken a while but I just wanted to say thank you so much for the wonderful service you did for my Mum. The service touched all out hearts, but in a good way. It was a terrible day for the family, which you made so much easier. My Dad said tht it wa amazing the way you talked about her, and us, as a family. We have been to a few funerals recently but have never heard a Minister as genuine and Personable as you. Even though you did not know my beautiful mum, You really did her proud and for that we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My Mam’s funeral went exactly as she wanted it. It was very specific and every tiny detail was carried out perfectly.
Chris Henthorn, Independant Professional Celebrant made it very special.
His service was so meaningful, so warm, so emotional.
My Mam wanted some tears so she knew she would be missed but mostly laughter to celebrate her wonderful happy eventful life and for someone to share her amusing life stories with everyone who attended.
Well Chris certainly did that ! Everyone commented on how wonderful Chris’s eulogy was and how meaningful he made the service.
My Mam’s final journey somehow managed to make a very sad time feel uplifting and a very special experience and that was all due to Chris Henthorn.

Just wanted to make contact with you to say just Wow! You made one of the saddest days of my life, and that of the girls, quite an uplifting experience. I want to say a massive in fact, huge thank you for conducting my dads (Paul Swarbrick) or stage name Paul chances service this week. You were definitely the right person for this part of my dads funeral.
As you said you were in the same business as my dad so in my own words on the hymn sheet… lol
The poem and the words that you added were perfect for my dad. I had a dream i saw my dad two days after he died and i was walking by some trees and the leaves were slightly blowing as i saw him looking his happy self.
So the words you shared were comforting for me personally being his little girl even at 38.

Chris so many people who attended Alan’s funeral who offered their condolences to us friends and family. All of them made a comment on the way you put Alan’s life story into 25 minutes. Using so little knowledge about his passed life and making it all so interesting. You made us smile and made us laugh.

I realised that I haven’t thanked you for the fabulous ceremony for dad last Friday. I’m just reading through the transcript and the words are really lovely and well put together although we all did snigger when you said that I was married to Bill not Phil? – it gave us something to laugh about and I’m sure dad would of laughed too
Everyone said it was quite uplifting and the music was perfect – although I must admit Lynne and I looked at each other when Louis Armstrong blasted his trumpet it again made us smile. I think it would of been exactly as he would of wanted.
I would like a copy if you could send me one as I know that the family would want a copy when you get a moment.

I just want to send a big fat thank you for my Mums, Pauline Story’s service yesterday.
I have to admit, I was dreading saying goodbye, it was hard. I am so glad you gave the service, you helped a lot to ease my pain and you got my mum off to a tee! And it certainly helped to bring a bit of humour into the service. I think we all appreciated and needed that. Again, thank you so much!!
Where to begin … apart from the very biggest thank you possible for making a very difficult occasion in the Wagstaff family history into a pleasure to be a part of.
From the very first moment I spoke with you I knew we were in very safe hands. Your kindness, understanding and guidance was, apart from very welcome in those darkest of days, but also very reassuring that mum would have the send-off we could only dream of.
Everybody commented how easy and welcoming you made the service which we had all been dreading and the words you expressed had mum down to a ‘T’.
Thank you once again and although I hope we don’t need you anytime soon would not hesitate to ask you for your help and guidance again should we need it.
